Dr. Nancy Erb has worked within various levels of client care including outpatient and inpatient services, IOP’s, partial care treatment, half-way and quarter-house programs as well as with community agencies primarily focused on mental health and substance abuse issues.
Dr. Erb incorporates this clinical knowledge with a holistic approach. Utilizing the traditional focus of cognitive-behavioral therapy, Dr. Erb’s practice is unique as it is based on the strength of the mind, body, spirit connection. This approach takes into account that all is interconnected. If one is experiencing a physical ailment it is often connected to an emotional component. To heal oneself, all aspects (mind, body, soul) are best addressed as a whole.
Her area of specialty includes working with anyone who is feeling stuck and not seeing significant progress toward their goal. Dr. Erb believes “… that it all comes down to finding that hidden barrier that one didn’t even know existed”.
